A few months ago we did a screening of our 2010 film You Saved Me in Milwaukee and the crowd loved it. We had no doubt that they would because it’s our favorite as well but that night was special. Somewhere between the hotel room and our flight back to Atlanta Ronnie and I came up with the idea to create a follow-up to You Saved Me.

From that idea was birthed the concept for our next film Still Standing. Still Standing will highlight courageous couples who have faced life’s challenges but regardless of it all they are Still Standing! With this, our fourth film you’ll see a dramatic increase in the production value, the storytelling and the entire value of the film itself and we’re so excited.

I’m also happy to announce that Still Standing will feature an amazing cast of couples including   Speech & Yolanda Thomas  (Arrested Development) and Fatin & Aja Dantzler (Kindred the Family Soul). Last week we started production on the film. Below you’ll find some behind the scenes pics from our interview with Speech and Yolanda. Stay tuned as we bring you more pictures, video and content as we travel towards the May 1st release of Still Standing.

Thanks Ayize. We definitely think this film will help more marriages and relationships that anything we’ve done in the past. It will definitely be our signature piece up to this point.

We’re also going to start a weekly Vlog here on the site that will carry everyone with us through the process of creating a film. Thanks for asking.

So timely. It is about time a movie that reinforces positive images about marriage is being made! It’s a wonder if the jokes about suffering for the cause (the marriage) has corroded the image of marriage in our society; maybe its not convenient anymore…Inconvenience is not sexy!

Great points. We definitely intend to give both a positive and transparent look at marriage unlike anything seen before. Or at least since Happily Ever After and You Saved Me but this one will be even better!
